With ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ and ‘Social Impact Investing’ now converging under the broad umbrella of ESG, for our next event FEI will explore what organisations – and finance teams in particular – need to know when employing this relevant lens for assessing business performance and impact.

Join our expert guests for an interactive discussion of:

  • how practitioners can assess the most material dimensions and areas of greatest opportunity for their businesses;
  • what good looks like to investors, who are increasingly allocating capital with reference to ESG standards;
  • how to measure success to ensure impact versus image; and
  • how and why addressing important environmental and social challenges through business is good for shareholders in the long term.

Deepen your understanding of building a ‘social licence’ for business with panellists:

Geoff Healy, Managing Director & Partner, Boston Consulting Group:  Geoff is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in leading global teams across Climate and the Environment, ESG, Health and Safety, Risk, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Governance, Corporate Affairs and Internal Audit.  Geoff joined BCG in January 2022, with a focus on climate and sustainability, risk and crisis management after serving over 7 years as BHP’s Chief External Affairs Officer.  Prior to 2013, Geoff was a partner of Herbert Smith Freehills.

Daniela Jaramillo, Director, Sustainable Investing, Fidelity:  With an extensive career in responsible investment in the UK and US, Daniela joined Fidelity in Australia in August 2021. Prior to that she was a Senior Responsible Investment Adviser at HESTA, one of Australia’s largest pension funds. While at HESTA, Daniela set up and was the Chair of the investor group of 40:40 Vision, an investor led initiative to achieve gender balance in executive leadership.

FEI is thrilled to host Geoff and Daniela for this important conversation.

2:00 – 2:30pm: OPTIONAL Networking Add-on:  Join FEI peers for small group break-out sessions immediately following the main panel event to discuss key takeaways – a great way to enhance your learning and build your network.
