After a long hiatus, FEI is pleased to invite Melbourne-based FEI Mentors and CFOs for our annual invitation-only boardroom lunch. FEI President, Julie Raffe, will host special guest Jim Miller – Chair, Infrastructure Victoria for the event.
Jim’s position leads him to be at the forefront of research into some of the nation’s most important challenges….the implications of significant population change, technological transformation, a warming climate and worsening congestion among them. Any one of these challenges would make for an interesting lunch conversation – and one that is highly relevant to business today – so we are thrilled to have such a broad remit and Jim’s expertise for what, I know, will be an engaging discussion.
In addition to chairing Infrastructure Victoria, the organisation charged with providing independent, evidence-based research and advice to the Victorian Government, Jim Miller is Vice Chair at J.P. Morgan, and a Director at Household Capital. As a former Executive Director at Macquarie Group, Jim has led over $120 billion in transactions for both the government and private sectors. He has experience in the areas of regulated assets, transport, energy, utilities and resources and social infrastructure. Jim has both a Bachelor and Masters of Economics from Macquarie University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia.
